the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project
In the afternoon, you will visit the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, which is known as the "ancestor of world water conservancy culture". This project, built in 256 BC, still plays a huge role in flood control and irrigation. You can walk across the swaying Anlan Cable Bridge, watch how the "Fish Mouth" water diversion embankment divides the Minjiang River into two, and understand the scientific principles of "Baopingkou" and "Feisha Weir", which is amazing for the wisdom of the ancients.
