About Guiyang

Guiyang, also known as Zhucheng, is the capital of Guizhou Province. Located in the central part of the Qianzhong Plateau and Hilly Region of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, it has a subtropical humid and mild climate with an average annual temperature of 15.3°C and an average summer temperature of 23.2°C. It is truly the 'Capital of Summer Retreat in China'. This city boasts the elegant beauty of Qianling Mountain and is nestled by the clear waters of Nanming River. It integrates the unique karst landscape wonders with the diverse ethnic cultures. As a gateway hub for tourism in Guizhou, it is also a highland ecological city surrounded by mountains and rivers, fragrant with delicious food, and suitable for travel all year round.

Why Private Car

The distribution of scenic spots in Guiyang spans a large area. Core attractions such as Huangguoshu Waterfall, Libo Xiaqikong, and Qingyan Ancient Town are far from the city center. Self-driving allows for flexible itinerary planning, stopping at will, and is not restricted by public transportation schedules. Guizhou's mountainous terrain with winding roads makes self-driving ideal for deeply exploring off-the-beaten-path viewpoints and adapting to a slow-paced travel rhythm. It also offers greater convenience for carrying luggage and souvenirs, and enables flexible connections to surrounding scenic areas, making the journey more free and comfortable.

Without a Car

Guiyang has many mountainous areas and scattered attractions, with limited public transportation services and cumbersome transfers. Traveling to and from remote scenic spots can be very time-consuming. During peak hours, it is difficult to hail taxis and ride-hailing services, and long trips are more likely to encounter issues such as haggling and refusal of orders. The cost of travel and the lack of freedom in pace make it far less convenient and comfortable than using a private vehicle.
